Epilex Oral Solution is Sodium Valproate I.P. from Abbott. Valproate increases GABA levels, blocks voltage-gated sodium channels and T-type calcium channels, preventing abnormal brain activity. It is broad-spectrum antiepileptic effective in generalized, partial, absence and myoclonic seizures. Also used for bipolar mania and migraine prevention. 200ml bottle
